Word processing

Copy typing, minutes, letters, dissertations, manuscripts, reports, manuals, CVs – we can help you, whether the job is large or small.

We are qualified and experienced users of all Microsoft Office applications and can supply a professionally finished document to meet your requirements, saving you time.

Let us prepare standard letters for you to edit so that you have a professional image.

You can specify some of your layout requirements or you can leave the choice to us. We are experienced at merging images or information from Excel or Access into your document.

Transcription

We can turn your taped dictation/recording from a variety of formats into documents that can be printed ot e-mailed to you.

The literal transcription usually contains unfinished sentences and fillers. We can edit this into good English so that the speaker’s meaning is clear.

NOTE:
Industry times for transcribing allow 4 hours to transcribe 1 hour of clearly recorded speech.

We can scan documents and turn them into word documents for you to edit, or for us to edit on your behalf.

Editorial Services

Although modern spell and grammar checkers on computers are useful they have their limitations. We can check proofs and make suggestions for changes or provide a complete editorial service, ensuing that the finished product is in good English, with consistent style and good layout, whilst maintaining the original meaning.

CV editing

We can turn your draft CV into a high quality finished product consistent with the current good practice. We do NOT write your CV for you as you have to own it and answer questions based on it when you go to the interview.
